Thanks for coming to visit my site! I’m a young Christian professional working as a teacher and living near Washington DC. I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, students, exploring the city, reading, volunteering, and eating Peruvian food.

Why I started this blog…

Since I was a little girl I always loved to read and write. I remember being in elementary school writing story after story and loving every second of it. Most of my younger years were spent lost in different books that sparked my imagination. Growing into adolescence, my love for reading never stopped – however , I did stop writing. Fast forward into young adulthood and college, I was forced to write papers but realized that I enjoyed it!

What better way than to mix my two passions- writing and Jesus! My goal for making this blog  is to encourage and inspire women-by my life, failures, strengths, and most importantly-the Word of God.

I am on a journey to love who God has created me to be and hope I can inspire you to do the same. I think if I can give just one person hope- then I have accomplished a lot! I hope you enjoy.
